While other brands test their products on orange peels and wildland gear, we've tested our products on real firefighters after structure, wildland, and training fires. All testing shows that carcinogens are no longer detectable on the skin after using FLAME.

Most shampoo and body wash products are 80-90% water. Ours is less than 8% water. Meaning you'd need 10 bottles of another brand to equal one bottle of FLAME.

I purchased this in hopes of finding something that would eliminate multiple showers before the smell of smoke is removed from my hair and skin. I also reached out and received some samples to give out at the station. We have all had multiple fire incidents as well as live burn trainings to test it out. Collectively everyone who has used it has praised its effectiveness at truly eliminating the smoke smell and removing soot. It does not just mask the smell like other products. Even odors on necklaces and watch bands are eliminated after one wash. I will be ordering more as needed for the foreseeable future. I was skeptical about the claims with this laundry detergent. My husband is a firefighter as well as an instructor at our state fire Academy. He is exposed to lots of “burn days”at the academy and then normal fires at the fire department. Trying to get that smoke/fire smell out of his uniforms feels like a never winning battle. I would have to do soaks, and double washes with all the products that I could find, and it was always a multi step process. I bought Flame on a whim, I did one wash following the directions for the bottle of the detergent, and all the smells were gone from his uniforms in one washing! It was amazing! I am always going to have a bottle on hand!
